Bottom right, bottom left, centre right, centre left. Each position has configurable pixel offsets (right, left, bottom) for surgical positioning — without touching the theme CSS.

Pulse animation and tooltip on hover

The pulse animation creates a green aura around the button that draws the eye without disturbing. The tooltip on hover shows the configured text in every language. Both can be activated separately.

Pre-filled message with page URL

The customer arrives in WhatsApp already with a pre-written message in their language. With the URL option active, the message includes the address of the page they were writing from — the support team immediately knows what it's about.

Mobile-only — visible only where needed

Enable mobile-only mode to show the button only on smartphones and tablets. On desktop WhatsApp is less natural — on mobile it's already where the customer lives. The choice is yours.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

No. Astrawhatsapp works with any WhatsApp number — personal or Business. The button generates a wa.me link with the configured number: when the customer clicks, WhatsApp (app or web) opens with the number and the pre-filled message. WhatsApp Business is recommended for those managing high message volumes, but it is not required.

Does the pre-filled message work in all languages?

Yes. Both the button text and the pre-filled message are configurable for every active language in the store. From the module configuration you can enter different texts for every language — the module automatically loads the version in the user's language. If text for a language is not configured, it uses the default "Chat with us on WhatsApp".

How does the "current page URL in the message" option work?

When this option is active, the pre-filled message automatically includes the URL of the page from which the customer opened the chat. If the customer writes from the "Blue Jacket" product page, the message already contains that URL. Your support team immediately knows which page or product it's about — without having to ask.

Does the button interfere with the store theme?

No. The button is positioned as fixed with a very high z-index (2147483000) — above all page content, but without modifying any theme file. The CSS is inline and isolated. It does not inject global classes into the body. Uninstallation removes everything without leaving anything in the theme.

Can I show the button only on mobile?

Yes. Mobile-only mode hides the button on screens wider than 768px (desktop and large tablets). On smartphones the button is always visible. This mode is recommended if your main target is mobile, or if you want to prevent the button from covering important elements on desktop.

What does the annual licence include?

The annual licence at €99 includes: full use of the module for 1 PrestaShop store, all updates released within 12 months, access to the Astralith Update Center and dedicated technical support.
