Astrasdabridge transforms an 8-step manual process into a single click from the PrestaShop back office. The fast lane between sale and delivery.
The customer buys. The order enters PrestaShop with all the data: recipient, address, products, weight.
Astrasdabridge shows the panel directly in the order tab. Data already populated, weight already calculated.
Press "Send to local bridge". The payload is sent via WebSocket to the SDA software on the same machine.
The local SDA bridge receives first name, last name, address, postcode, city, province, weight, order reference.
No copy-pasting. No transcription errors. Ready for the label and handover to the carrier.

What it sends to the bridge
The module calculates the weight by summing weight × quantity for each product in the order. No manual estimation, no field to fill in. Falls back to the weight recorded by PrestaShop if automatic calculation is disabled.
The payload is sent via WebSocket to the SDA bridge running on the same machine as the operator (127.0.0.1:8087 by default, configurable). No intermediate server, no data sent to external clouds.
All required SDA fields: PS_nome, PS_cognome, PS_ragSoc, PS_addr1/2, PS_CAP, PS_city, PS_prov, PS_nazione, PS_tel1/2, PS_mail, PS_idFiscale, PS_IdVend, PS_peso, PS_valOrd. Native field=value&null format.
If something goes wrong, the "Resend" button is always available. The technical log shows the details of the WebSocket communication for precise analysis in case of error.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Astrasdabridge is the bridge between PrestaShop and the local SDA software: you need the SDA client installed and the local bridge active on the operator's machine. Astrasdabridge sends the order data via WebSocket to this bridge, which transfers it to the SDA software. If you already use SDA as your carrier and have the software installed, integration is immediate.
It depends on the configuration. You can set the SDA carrier reference in the module configuration: in this case the panel appears only on orders with that carrier selected. If you leave the field blank, the panel is shown on all orders. Useful if you ship mainly with SDA or if you want to filter by carrier.
When automatic calculation is active, Astrasdabridge sums weight × quantity for each product in the order, reading the weights configured in the PrestaShop product sheets. If the total is zero or calculation is disabled, it uses the weight recorded by PrestaShop on the order. The resulting weight is automatically inserted into the SDA payload — no manual intervention.
The panel shows a status message indicating the connection problem. The technical log (expandable in the panel) reports the details of the WebSocket error. The "Resend" button is always available: you can check that the bridge is active on the local machine and retry sending without reloading the page or reopening the order.
Yes. Astrasdabridge is developed and tested on PrestaShop 8.x and 9.x, declared compatible from 8.0.0 to 9.99.99. The hook-only architecture guarantees resilience to PrestaShop core updates.
