The flow doesn't stop at printing. Astrapicking is designed to work side by side with Astrashipping, the Astralith module for shipment management. Pick, check, ship — all in the same ecosystem, with no jumping between systems.
Frequently asked questions
No. The Windows bridge is optional and is only needed for direct one-click printing. Without the bridge you still have the PDF preview (openable and downloadable) and the ESC/POS (.prn) export to send manually to the printer. You can start without the bridge and add it later if you want direct printing.
With any 80mm thermal printer that accepts RAW/ESC-POS input, the most widely used industrial standard. Compatible brands include Epson, Star Micronics, Bixolon, HPRT, Sewoo and many others. If your printer accepts .prn files or ESC/POS commands, it works.
No, intentionally. The bridge is designed to work only from the same Windows machine physically connected to the printer. This choice increases security and stability: no network configurations, no open ports, no IP dependencies. Open the back office from the printer's PC and print in one click.
Yes. You can configure the notes field label and the text of the 2 final verification checkboxes. The ticket layout is optimised for 80mm thermal printing and includes order data, product lines, quantities and references. For advanced layout customisation, contact us.
Yes. Astrapicking is developed and tested on PrestaShop 8.x and 9.x (declared up to 9.99.99). Thanks to the hook-only architecture — with no core override — the module is resilient to updates and remains compatible with future versions of PrestaShop.
The annual licence includes: full use of the module for 1 PrestaShop store, all updates released within 12 months, access to the Astralith Update Center, dedicated technical support and all future improvements. The Windows bridge is distributed separately but is included in the Astrapicking ecosystem at no extra cost.
Yes, the two modules are designed to work together within the Astralith ecosystem. Astrapicking handles the physical warehouse pick; Astrashipping handles the shipment. You can use Astrapicking without Astrashipping — but the complete picking→shipping flow is smoother with both.
