You're giving an experience. The recipient doesn't receive a bare coupon — they receive a thoughtful email with their name, the giver's name, a personal message, the graphic gift card and the PDF attached.
The difference between a voucher and a gift lies in that emotion of the opening moment.
The person buying the gift card enters their name and the recipient's name. The email says "Marco has given you" — not "you have received a voucher".
The giver can write a personal message. It appears in the email and in the PDF — in a dedicated box, like a letter.
The gift card is generated as a PDF and automatically attached to the recipient's email. It can be saved, printed, or shown on a phone.
The amounts
Astragiftcard includes 14 preset amounts — all activatable or deactivatable from the back office with one click. Choose which ones to offer in your store.
Each amount corresponds to a combination of the gift card product. Setup is automatic — a single click from the back office creates or syncs the product and all the combinations.

The journey
The customer chooses the amount, enters sender name, recipient name, email and personal message.
The gift card is activated only after the order reaches an authorised status — configurable from the back office.
The system automatically generates the gift card as a PDF with unique code, amount, expiry date and message.
The recipient receives the dedicated email with the graphic gift card, the personal message and the PDF attached.
The recipient uses the unique code at checkout. From the customer area they can view and download the card.
The back office shows status, usage, redemption and history of every gift card issued by the store.

From the back office you can configure which order statuses authorise the activation of the gift card. For example: if you accept bank transfers, you set "payment accepted" as the trigger — the card is generated and sent only when you confirm receipt of payment. If you use credit cards or PayPal, you can set automatic activation on instant payment. Management is entirely in your hands.
No. The recipient receives the unique gift card code by email — they can use it at checkout even without an account, by entering it in the coupon/discount code field. If they register, they can also view it in the customer area. The gift card generates a standard PrestaShop cart rule, compatible with the native checkout flow.
No, by design choice. Astragiftcard is designed with a single-use experience with no remaining credit — the card is redeemed in full on first use. This choice avoids the complexity of managing residual balances and offers a clear experience for both the recipient and the merchant. This is why the fixed amounts are designed to cover all common use cases (€10, €20, €50, €100…).
The code is automatically generated with a configurable prefix (e.g. "GC-") and configurable length. The code is unique for every gift card — no possibility of collision. From the back office you can set both the prefix and the length of the generated code according to your operational preferences.
Yes. The back office shows for every gift card issued: status (pending, active, redeemed), send email with date and time, redemption flag and redemption date, amount, code, source order ID, sender and recipient name. You have full visibility on the lifecycle of every card without consulting separate reports.
The annual licence at €119 includes: full use of the module for 1 PrestaShop store, all updates released within 12 months, access to the Astralith Update Center, dedicated technical support and all future improvements. No hidden costs, no separate premium features.
